Annual Operating Plans

Annually in December, Mistik submits planned harvest area maps and related documentation to the Ministry of Environment, Forest Service Branch for review and approval. Proposed plans are for the upcoming operating year which is from April 1-March 31, and are developed consistent with the Saskatchewan Environmental Code, Forest Operating Plan Standard, and Mistik’s 20-year forest management plan.

The plan includes the location of proposed operations (cut blocks, roads, road closures, watercourse crossings, etc.) and other data including proposed harvest volumes and input provided by forest users as a result of Mistik’s consultation process.
